The system is comprised of an AAC flash hider and a 240-SD fast-attach sound and flash suppressor. Constructed from 316 stainless steel and 718 inconel, the 240-SD is CNC fusion welded into a monolithic structure to cope with the intense heat and particle abrasion resulting from high volume full-auto fire. A spring biased secondary latch secures the 240-SD when mounted and enables users to install or remove the suppressor in under five seconds with minimal effort. Both the suppressor and flash hider are finished in matte black SCARmor™, a revolutionary finish that will not scratch or burn away.
