The OMNI is a fast-attach, high efficiency, compact 5.56mm silencer that can be mounted on a standard M16A2 or SOPMOD flash hider without modification. The patent-pending mounting system allows users to install or remove the silencer in seconds without tools, providing precision accuracy with minimal and repeatable zero-shift by indexing on the standard wrench flats of the flash hider. The user has the ability to easily install or remove the silencer within seconds in the harshest military environment. The compact size and light weight have minimal affect on maneuverability.
A revolutionary feature of the OMNI is its modular design. Even when the rear cap is disengaged during installation, it remains securely attached to the main body of the silencer. This prevents components from being dropped during installation and lost forever in the dark, sand, mud, sea, or thick foliage - rendering the suppressor completely useless.
The OMNI's extreme durability is maximized by fully CNC automated fusion welding of every high-temperature aerospace alloy component used for its construction- making 100% suppressed full-auto fire possible on barrels as short as 11.5 inches. The back-pressure lowering design of the silencer aids in shooter comfort, reduces weapon fouling, and minimizes cyclic rate increase. By eliminating approximately 95% of the muzzle report, the OMNI preserves the hearing of the shooter and nearby support personnel, facilitates communication, and masks the location of the weapon. Eliminating muzzle flash in combat saves lives.
