| The introduction to Precision Rifle shooting teaches a novice shooter about the basic skills and equipment needed for long range precision shooting. Subjects covered are equipment selection, common terms, using the MILDOT system, how to mil targets and estimate range. Shooters will zero, preform the box drill at 100 and 300 meters and engage targets out to 300m under time.
These are the minimum requirements for the class:
A valid CCW permit
Safe and functional precision rifle with bipod and scope
Sling
Cleaning kit
Happy sock
Eye protection
Electronic ear protection
Sturdy footwear
Weather dependent clothing
200 rounds of reliable and safe ammunition
Shooting mat
